Freediving in Bristol
Welcome to the home of Bristol Freedivers!

Established in 2010 we are the original and biggest club in Bristol and share a passion for safe and enjoyable freediving. We are based at Horfield Leisure Centre and no matter what your goals, objectives and ambitions are we can help you learn and develop both in the pool and open water.
If you just want to have fun or train to compete we have something for everyone and all abilities.
About Us
We have 2 weekly pool sessions all year round. Our main club session is on Friday evening at Horfield Leisure Centre and for members with additional competitive or development goals we have a session on Mondays at Kingswood. Fridays are led by an instructor while Mondays are for individual training plans.

During the warmer months we organise Open Water Diving at Vobster, Club Diving weekends to the coast, trips to deep pools in Europe like Deep Spot in Poland and Y40 in Italy and have several social events throughout the year.

Each year we organise the Bristol Blue Freediving Competition. This has since 2018 been the UK National Pool Freediving Championships and is now one of the biggest and best regarded pool competitions in the world.

If you want to join us we are open to qualified freedivers. If you are just starting out on your freediving journey we run Taster Courses twice a year for you to get a freediving experience and see if it is for you.
