British Freediving Association

The British Freediving Association (BFA) is the UK governing body of the international Freediving organisation AIDA. Set up in 1999 to represent the sport of freediving in the UK, the objectives are to promote freediving – both competitively and recreationally – and to encourage the safe practice of the sport.

The BFA also ratify Freediving records, sponsor events for our members and supports a growing network of affiliated clubs throughout the UK. In addition, we are the sole body that selects teams for international competitions.

ECHO | ECHO

ECHO | ECHO is a global community of freedivers. Brought together by our shared passion for self-knowledge, travel and wellbeing, our aim is to foster human connection through freediving retreats and events. We run regular workshops and masterclasses throughout the year, from Kas, Turkey to Deepspot, Poland and even London.

Emerald Freediving

Based in lush Ireland over the summers and the sunny Red Sea for freediving in Dahab, Egypt during winters, we've got some adventures planned and coaching ready and would love for you to join!

From fun dives to depth training to novice courses to Ireland spearfishing and more - we are teaching, coaching, and fun Irish freediving around the Emerald Isle and beyond. See you in the blue!

Blue Embrace Freediving

Blue Embrace Freediving operate in Cornwall, UK and offer Freediving Courses and training with World Champion freediver Alice Hickson. Whatever level you are in your Freediving journey we can help you learn to freedive or improve your skills.

We offer AIDA courses along with 1-2-1 training and group coaching programs done either in person or remote. Whatever your goal we can tailor a programme specific to you.

This year Blue Embrace will be putting together a Static training plan for the male and female best newbie winners helping them take their STA performance to the next level!

Blue Water Freediving School

At Blue Water Freediving School we are passionate about expert-led training giving you the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors who prioritize safety and skill development . We offer high quality freediving instruction from entry level course through to instructor level training. We also provide one 2 one training and private coaching. All of our courses are run in small groups of students.

We run weekly training sessions, freediving holidays and weekend trips and go to freediving competitions as a team.

This year Blue Water Freediving will be putting together a Dynamic training plan for the male and female best newbie winners helping them take their DYN or DNF performance to new distances!
